Cecil served in the Korean War as a Sargent in the US Army.
After 30 years, he retired from the Arkansas State Highway Police and worked for the Dandy Oil Company for the next 20 years. He really enjoyed it.
He was very organized in every aspect of his life. Cecil most enjoyed traveling with his late wife, of 69 years, Lena, who passed in 2017.
Cecil is survived by his sons, David Williams and his wife, Sally of Bentonville and Mark Williams and his wife, Cheryl of Bentonville; brother, George Williams of Texas; brother-in-law, Pete Smith of Centerton; brothers-in-law, Gary Smith of Oklahoma and Raymond Smith of South Carolina, whom Cecil and Lena raised after the death of their mother; grandchildren, Shonda (Charley) Hudson; great-grandchildren, Kimberley and Matthew Hudson.
Visitation will be on Monday 10-12pm at Rollins Funeral Home Stateroom, in the office building. Burial will be private at Centerton Cemetery.
