Mrs. Clara (Mimi) Brasher Norwood of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022. A week earlier she celebrated her 95th birthday. She was born in Lake Charles, LA, November 16, 1927, to Fred and June Brasher, their youngest, joining her ten siblings Eva, Charles, Warren, Marion, Bill, Lucina, Fred, Milton, Mildred, and Philo.
On June 21, 1946, she and Jack Norwood were married and lived in Lake Charles and Rogers. Their home was blessed with eight children: six sons, Greg (Sue), Chuck (Joyce), Bill (Betsy), Mike (Grace), Pete (Debbie), and Philo (Renee); and two daughters, Adonna (Max) and June (Tim). There are 18 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren
She cared deeply for her husband, children, grands, greats and great-greats, making a happy home and loving them in her special way. She worked at Strouds’ and retired from RTW in 1993. She and Jack were charter members of Bible Missionary churches in Lake Charles and Rogers. They raised their children to serve God, and their lives were lived for Him in the church. She was the last living charter member of the Rogers church.
Clara is preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings.
She loved people and was loved by all who knew her. A lady of high integrity and principles and standing for right in every situation, she will be remembered as a sweet Christian lady and a friend of many.

Burial afterward in Fayetteville National Cemetery.
