

Darrell was an incredibly joyful person who could put a smile on anyone’s face! He is remembered for being positive and social, serving as a great role model for his family and friends. Darrell worked as an accountant and business owner for years; he and his wife, Muriel, enjoyed traveling as part of owning and operating a miniatures business. They were married for 64 years and raised three wonderful children together. In his spare time, Darrell enjoyed gardening, golfing, and most of all, dancing. He was a devout Christian, and his life revolved around his faith and family. Darrell will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Muriel (Lind) Warden, his brother Dean Warden.
Darrell is survived by: bother Delton (Joan) Warden of Elk River, Minnesota; son, James Warden (Candace) of Stanchfield, Minnesota; daughters, Laurie Lopez (Andres) of Centerton, Arkansas, and Amy Wachtel (Eric) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A public visitation will be held on Monday, October 28th at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas from 4:00-6:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be designated to Alzheimer’s disease research at Mayo Clinic. Gifts can be mailed directly to Mayo Clinic, Department of Development, 200 First Street SW, Rochester, MN 55905.
