

David Lyle Campbell, 57, of Pea Ridge passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021. He was born January 11, 1964, in Cascade County, Montana to Graviel and Fern Olive Campbell. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves. David’s life was spent serving others. He was joyful and had a unique sense of humor. He was an interpreter in public schools assisting deaf students in their classes and taught American Sign Language at the University of North Dakota. He also worked in a video relay center helping the deaf and hard of hearing communicate with others by telephone. David also served as a Sunday School teacher, Youth Minister, and Associate Pastor. He loved people, he loved life, and he loved the Lord. David was a member of the National Association of the Deaf and The Ridge Church of Pea Ridge where he filled the pulpit on several occasions. He enjoyed playing games (and winning), camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, rock hunting, all sports, and coaching wrestling. Survivors include his loving wife of more than 35 years, Athina Campbell; son, Christian (Kelayna) Campbell; 2 sisters, Wanda Brown and Juanita Loreman; 2 brothers, Walter Coffman and Rocky Campbell; numerous extended family members; church families; professional associates, and dear friends. The funeral is at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at The Ridge Church in Pea Ridge. Interment with full military honors is at 1:30 P.M. in Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
