Edward Hubbard

Edward “Eddie” E. Hubbard, 61, passed away March 7, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 19, 1952 to the late Lawrence B. and Mary Jane (Lovell) Hubbard. He was the loving husband of Rebecca (Krantz) Hubbard for 27 years.

He worked as a painter and general handyman for many years, but was employed for the Benton County Road Department building bridges for the past 5 years.

Eddie loved growing flowers in his garden, working with wood, watching TV with his son, cooking and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Rebecca of Rogers; 5 sons, Eddie B Hubbard, Michael Hubbard, Jeremiah Hubbard all of Missouri, Lawrence Hubbard of Rogers and Brian Hubbard of Swifton; 3 daughters, Evelyn Goddin, Suzanne Hubbard both of Missouri, and Crystal Hubbard of Rogers; brother Larry Hubbard of Missouri; 3 sisters, Barbara Wilson, Francis Taylor and Mary Barnes all of Missouri; 38 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 5 until 7pm at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 3:30pm in the Chapel.
