

Frank Paul Carollo, 75, of Bentonville, Arkansas, died February 21, 2011. He was born on July 27, 1935, to Pasquale and Nadine Lucille (Garner) Carollo in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1971, Frank earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University, graduating with distinction. Having spent twelve and a half years in the United States Air Force, Frank got his start in the Computer Industry while in service. He spent part of five decades in positions ranging from Hardware Maintenance Tech, Programmer, Software Engineer, Product Manager, Computer Salesman, and Sales Management Positions, up to and including Vice President of Sales and Marketing. His career included employment with General Electric, Perkin Elmer, Harris Corporation, and Scientific Computer Systems.
Animal husbandry, Murray Grey cattle in particular, was a passion with Frank. He ended up with twelve prized cows, purchasing them from five states and Canada. In 1988, he was elected President of the American Murray Grey Association.
Frank had a variety of hobbies including golf, camping, fishing, poker, antique collecting and Fantasy Football.
Frank is survived by his wife, Paula Lee (Dombek) Carollo; son Jim Carollo and daughter Rebecca Rowe, both from a former marriage; daughter-in-law, Ann Carollo of Prairie Village, KS, son-in-law, Joel Rowe of Newnan, GA; six grandchildren, Connor and Cameron Carollo, Noah, Josanna, Luke and Eden Rowe; Frank’s brothers, Joseph, Peter, and Sam Carollo; sisters, Gina Carollo and Mary Impellizzeri and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Frank is also survived by his beloved step-children, Clint and wife Mary Hutchinson of Little Rock, AR, and Darla Hutchinson and Brandon Goff of Paris, AR and step-grandchildren, Lilly, Melissa, and David Hutchinson.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, oldest son, Frank P. Carollo, Jr.; and brothers, James A. Carollo and John Carollo.
