

Jack was born in Stillwater, OK on August 9, 1947, to Jack and Dollie Hefner. He married Helen Margaret Johnson on August 30, 1969, in Tulsa, OK.
Jack graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Technology and later received an Associates degree in Anthropology from Purdue University.
Jack worked for Cherokee Nation Distributors where he received multiple awards for the design and manufacturing of wiring harnesses for the Hellfire Missile systems. Upon leaving Cherokee Nation Distributors Jack “retired” to Garfield, AR, where he established Beaver Lake Pest Control which he operated until his death.
As a young man, Jack became fascinated with everything mechanical establishing many lifelong friends through his passion and when not working Jack could be found pursuing his passion of building hotrods, motorcycle and boats.
Jack is survived by his wife Helen; mother Dollie Hefner-Hutchinson; sons Jack Berkley Hefner and Alan Nicholas Hefner both of Tahlequa; Jack is also survived by his three grandchildren Montana, Alora and Lillian Rae Hefner.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., August 26th, 2010, with services following at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home, Rogers, Arkansas.
