

James “Jim” Bryant, age 69, of Rogers, passed away at his home on May 12, 2010, after a short bout with cancer. He was born on March 13, 1941, in North Little Rock to Curtis and Lois Bryant. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jeanette Majors.
In 1982, he retired from the US Air Force after 22 years of service, after which he was employed by Cooper Communities, Inc. and CEI Engineering until 2003. He was an avid musician, a gift which he passed down to his son and grandsons.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Dorothy Bryant; son, Steve Bryant and wife Mary of Bentonville; grandchildren, Shana, Tony and Andy Bryant; step-grandsons, Michael, Chris, and Matthew Bischoff; sisters, Joy Kerfoot and husband Karl of Ponca City, Oklahoma, JoAnn Lake of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a brother John Bryant and his wife Kathy of Granby, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 17, 2010, at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force Honor Guard from Little Rock Air Force Base. There will be no visitation.
