James Edward Cockrell

James Edward Cockrell, 59, of Rogers passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022. He was born April 24, 1963, in Rogers, to the late C.L. and Lucille Rosetta Pendergraft. James was also preceded by a brother, Boyd Cockrell. Mr. Cockrell enjoyed repairing automobiles and computers, fishing, riding dirt bikes, watching NASCAR races and Heartland on TV. Above all else, he cherished the time that he shared with his grandchildren. Survivors include his life-mate for the last 34 years, Carol Hall, of Rogers; his daughters, Jennifer (Trevor) Schronk of Purdy, Missouri, Tina (Chuck) Ames of Lowell, Amber (Kevin) Gaddie of Rogers and Traci (Coty) Babin of Alabama; his sons, Bradley Cockrell, Dusty and Travis (Kayla) Hall, all of Rogers; brothers, Donald (Susie) Cockrell and Larry Cockrell, all of Rogers and David Cockrell of Purdy, Missouri; 20 grandchildren; a great-grandson; numerous extended family members and dear friends. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm, Tuesday, May 10, 2022, in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Interment will follow in Pratt Cemetery near Garfield. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
