Jo Retta Edwards, 69, of Rogers passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021. She was born December 18, 1952, in Lindsay, Oklahoma to the late Everett Lee Williams and Patsy Ann Trout Williams. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by a daughter, Emily Edwards Rousey and a brother, Dale Williams. Following graduation, she began a bookkeeping career in several public schools in Oklahoma. Jo enjoyed the outdoors, playing with her fur-baby Sadie and birdwatching for cardinals. But, she loved the times shared with her grandchildren and family. She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her adoring husband of 50 years, Kenneth Edwards; a daughter, Laura (Mike) Loyd of Rogers; a sister, Angela Rains of Lexington, Oklahoma; a brother, Pete (Annette) Williams of Purcell, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren, Madison and Hunter Loyd of Rogers, numerous extended family members and dear friends.
