He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Keith’s father was a forest ranger and the family moved multiple times throughout his childhood. By the time he was in high school, they had lived in most of the western states.
Finally, they settled in Woodland Park, Colorado where he graduated high school as Valedictorian of his class.
While attending college, he built furniture to help pay for his school.
In 1956, he started working at Universal Electric in Colorado Springs. Keith met Evelyn at Universal and they got married on September 1, 1961. They were married for 57 years.
When the company changed names to Emerson Electric and relocated to Rogers, Arkansas they, along with twenty-six other families, moved as well. He was a supervisor and retired after 42 years with Emerson. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of the home; two children, Darrin Phillips and his wife, Christi of Lowell, and Kristy Wright and her husband, Sammy of Rogers; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. A memorial service will be held on March 18, 2019 at 11am in the church, N. Dixieland Rd.
