

William Kim Philpott, 54, of Rogers, Arkansas lost his fight with brain cancer December 3, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born February 5, 1956 in Farwell, Texas to William Alex “Bill” and Jimmie Marie Philpott.
Kim moved to Arkansas December 1959 and lived in Cave Springs on the Philpott farm with his parents and sibling Kerinda Johnson, Kelly Thesing, and Kirby Philpott.
After graduation from Bentonville High School in 1974 he left for Alaska to pursue a career with the Trans Alaska Pipeline. He met and married his wife and best friend of 26 years, Pamela Ann Montour of Fairbanks. Kim and Pam were married in Kona, Hawaii in 1984. In 1997 Kim moved to Rogers, Arkansas with family in tow where he became a successful land developer.
Kim and Pam were blessed with two children; Brandon Guy Philpott and Amy LeAnn Glass, wife of Jordan Glass and their one and only grandchild Jaxton Lucas Glass.
Kim loved being a father and grandfather, hunting and fishing with his son Brandon and spending time with his “little girl” Amy. Jaxton was the light in his Grandpa’s eyes. Kim enjoyed life whether it be playing his “Big Toys” or simply enjoying a day out on the lake. Kim was a kind, loving, devoted, and an honorable man, he is loved and will be missed by so many.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Benton County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday evening at Rollins Chapel from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Rollins Funeral Home.
