Lloyd Dale Richardson, 84, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 in Rogers. He was born in Izard County, Pineville, Arkansas near Calico Rock, September 30, 1937 the son of Hubert and Ruth Dillard Richardson.
He graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 1956 and played for the Blackhawks on the basketball team. He served in the Army National Guard in Fort Smith and retired from Daisy Air Rifle in Rogers as a tool and die maker.
He was an antique car lover with many cars he bought and fixed to run again, also loved motorcycles and anything that had wheels. He loved traveling and just taking the unknown roads to see where they led to, visiting all states except Hawaii and Alaska. He married the love of his life for 58 years, Lois Gore Richardson from Bentonville and they had two daughters, Layle and Loy. A loyal, faithful and loving husband and father to his family and four grandchildren, as well as two sons-in-law that he couldn’t have ordered a better match for his daughters.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Paul Wayne Richardson. Survivors are his wife Lois Gore Richardson of the home, two daughters, Layle Hissong and husband Terry, and Loy Swift and husband Ron both of Pea Ridge, four grandchildren Toby Swift, Gracelyn Hissong, Teagan Swift, and Kamden Hissong all of Pea Ridge.
A visitation for Lloyd will be held Monday, June 13, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Rollins Funeral Home, 1401 W Hudson Rd, Rogers, Arkansas 72756. A funeral service will occur Monday, June 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 1401 W Hudson Rd, Rogers, Arkansas 72756. An interment will occur Monday, June 13, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Bentonville Cemetery, Bentonville, Arkansas.
