Lora Irene Bland, age 86, of Springdale, died July 9, 2011, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born in Huntsville, Arkansas, on April 13, 1925, to the late Irving and Nettie (Keeling) Graham.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry Bland and wife Michelle of Fayetteville, Leon Bland and wife Pam of Fayetteville; sister-in-law Ola Mae Christie and husband Keith of Springfield, Missouri; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Delbert Bland, who died in 2000; and a granddaughter, Jessica Currier.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home, officiated by Charlie Foster. Interment will follow in Bland Cemetery.
