Luella was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers and a long-time volunteer at St. Mary’s Hospital, offering her talents with arts and crafts, as well as assistance in the gift shop, at the front desk, or wherever she was needed the most.
In addition to her parents, Luella was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Hicks; sisters, Ann Bouchard and Gladys Strout; and brothers, Lawrence, Arthur, and Herbert Dow.
Survivors include her sister, Lucinda Breau of Bangor, Maine; brother, Charles Dow of Spring Hill, Florida; daughter, Janet Sigler and husband Randy of Skiatook, Oklahoma; son, Kenneth Hicks and wife Michele of Rogers; daughter, Anne Kaylor and husband James of Harrisburg, North Carolina; granddaughter, Jennifer Reardon and husband Matthew of Fayetteville; grandson, Christopher Hicks and wife Allison; and great granddaughter, Emelia, of Rogers.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 26, 2019, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to: Catholic Charities USA or Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
The Hicks family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, AR.
