Mary E. Chick, 74, died October 13, 2014 in Rogers. She was born on May 18, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Harold Vanover and Katherine Ford. She was the loving wife of Robert Chick of Rogers.
Mary loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them all. She had a green thumb and could make any plant show its full beauty in her yard.
Mary is survived by her husband; sons, Larry Carpenter of Rogers, George Carpenter and wife, Joy of Rogers, and John Carpenter and wife, Laura of Russellville; daughters, Lorenda Saulsbury of Rogers and Leisa Jackson and husband, Rick of TX; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 1:30 in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel, with entombment to follow at Rogers Cemetery. Her visitation will be Friday, October 17, 2014 from 5 until 7 in the chapel.
