We are so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I remember her visiting the Grenada Church of God when Bubba was a baby! Then in the late sixties we went to church with the family in Clarksdale. So, we followed you to NW Arkansas where we became very good friends. Mary Alice was a special person in every way; she will be missed. What a comfort to know she is with Gene & Jesus! We love you guys. ❤️

I have heard endearing stories from the Green family about Ms Alice for many years... then, at Jennifer's wedding, was fortunate to meet her and watched her sparkle with joy during the celebration ❤ she was sweet, kind and spoke fondly of her family.
Our deepest condolences to the Green family (and all family members) I pray that you find comfort in all the wonderful memories of Ms Alice.

When my daddy quit farming in 1953 we moved to town (Clarksdale, MS) and lived next door to Gene and Mary Alice Green at 443 Anderson Blvd. I played with Myron a lot. Mr. and Mrs. Green were the nicest people and looked out for us just like their own kids. My two sisters (Ann & Cathy) were sorry to leave our neighbors when we bought another house on Lynn St. in 1956. They were great people and Mrs. Green was so good to all of us.
