Patricia J. Burk, 88, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025.
She was born November 2, 1936, in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Ellis & Hazel Storms.
On July 22, 1955, she married the love of her life, Robert Burk. She was a devoted wife, stay at home mom and grandmother. A devoted Southern Baptist, she was felt called to the ministry along with her husband. Patricia specialized in Children’s Ministry and wrote for Star Magazine, which was especially written for preschool teachers. She loved to entertain at Christmas. Patricia was known as a seamstress, candy maker, canner and quilter.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Vince Storms & Ellis Storms, Jr.; a sister Virginia Storms; and 2 daughters-in-law Elke Burk & Kelly Burk.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Pastor Robert Burk; 4 children Cheryl Hudson (David), Scott Burk, Steve Burk and Sarah Adams (Charles). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, a step-grandchild, 20 greatgrandchildren, 3 step-greatgrandchildren, 4 great-greatgrandchildren, and a sister, Elaine Vagner.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, Bentonville, AR.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Monday, February 10, 2025, at First Baptist Church Garfield, 17784 Marshall St, Garfield, AR. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm with Bro. Gary Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Pea Ridge Cemetery.
Patricia was a member of the Red Hatters Club and loved the color red, so in her honor, please wear red to her service.
