Robert was a devoted father to his three amazing girls, Emily, Madison, and Rachel Grace who survive him along with his mother, Norma Sherrill.
Robert was born 1967 at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina. He was a member of the North Pulaski High School Class of 1986. On May 25, 1988, he married Georgia, his high school sweetheart. He was “her rock.” Robert served in many roles, both in the field and in the home office, over three decades with Walmart and Sam’s Club.
Together with Georgia and his girls, Robert enjoyed camping, fishing, four wheeling, beach vacations, attending school and sports activities, and they were avid NASCAR fans (Go #24!). Robert also liked to spend time metal detecting and found joy in unearthing hidden treasures.
Robert was blessed with the gentlest soul and incredibly kind heart. Never one to be the center of attention, Robert always made you smile with his quiet sense of humor and wit. A proud father, his greatest joy was sharing stories about adventures with his girls.
Robert was predeceased by his wife of 25 years, Georgia, and his father Bobby Sherrill.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, October 5th at 10:30 a.m. at Rollin’s Funeral Home in Rogers, AR. His girls encourage anyone attending to wear their favorite Hawaiian shirt or their NASCAR, Chiefs or Hogs gear.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to the NASCAR Foundation which provides for children in need.
