Sandra Joan Merlin

Sandra was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Newbury Park, California, and later in Bentonville, where she was active in the Lutheran Women’s groups.

Survivors include her husband, Brenton W. Merlin of the home; father, Melvin Kailey of Lincoln, Neb.; children, Brenda Hill and husband Keith of Adrian, Mich., Brenton C. Merlin of Basalt, Colorado, Sean M. Merlin and wife Christina of Cathedral City, Calif., Darren Merlin and wife Kristina of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; brother, Dennis Kailey of Hastings, Neb.; sister, Tamara Culhane and husband Dennis of Lincoln, Neb.; grandchildren, Michael and Tyler Hill, Sean Merlin, Jr., Parker Merlin, Renee Merlin; and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her mother, and a grandson, William Hill.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Bentonville, officiated by Rev. Stacy M. Seger.
