

William “Bill” Thomas McCarley, Sr., died October 7, 2013 in Fayetteville. He was born on October 6, 1930 in Hollis, Oklahoma, to the late Charles R. and Okie Mae (Nicholson) McCarley. He was the husband of Euleta (Urich) Carter McCarley.
Bill was a member of the Christian Life Center, in Centerton. He was a member of the Rogers VFW Post 3031 and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Bill enjoyed and had a real talent for gardening. He was a devoted Christian, who enjoyed studying the Bible. He taught Sunday school at the Pentecostals of Northwest Arkansas, where he was a member for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of Rogers; son, William “Tom” McCarley, Jr. and wife, Kay of Ft. Smith; daughter, Linda C. Brown and husband Carl of Rogers; step-sons, Jim Perry and wife Doris of Gentry and Bob Perry and wife, Donna of Decatur; Gary Carter and wife, Pam of Rogers and Jon Carter and wife, Becky of Bentonville; step daughters, June Johnson and husband, Mark of Missouri, Debra Deatherage and husband Jerry of Bella Vista, and Renee Carter Howard of Rogers; 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Carol Ann (Smith) McCarley; brother, Charles N. McCarley; sister, Hazel White; and second wife, Sarah I. (Perry) McCarley.
His funeral service will be Friday, October 11, 2013 at 10:00am in Pentecostals of Northwest Arkansas, 2200 S. 13th Street, Rogers, Arkansas, with burial to follow at Tucks Chapel Cemetery. A visitation will be at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday from 5 until 7pm.
