Dan graduated from The Lovett Schools, Atlanta and the University of Georgia.
He worked for many years for News Publishing Co.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Mooney Mozley, his sister, Lind Mozley Sawyer and her family and his wife's family.
A private service will be held. The family requests no flowers. Memorial gifts may be made to a charity of your choice.
