Henry was born in Buford, South Carolina on April 4, 1986, but grew up in Rome. He was the son of Henry August Priebe and Patricia Elizabeth Dempsey Goodin. Henry enjoyed sports, (especially, football and baseball) fishing and tinkering with things. He cultivated his tinkering into a skill that enabled him to repair small mower motors and weed eaters.
In addition to his parents, Henry is survived by four brothers, Joseph Randall Goodin of Austin, TX, Joseph Allen Priebe of AL, Christopher Adam Priebe and his wife, Jennifer of Rome, Cecil August Emerson Priebe of Rome; and two sisters, Ruthie Elizabeth White, and husband, Jake of Phoenix, AZ, Anita Rachael Hurley, and husband, Lynn of Marcellus, MI.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Daniel’s Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Smollar officiating. The family received friends the hour prior to the service.
The family would like to recognize two special people in Henry’s life, Sandra, who was his second “Mom” and Dan Nixon, a friend and confidant.
