Jimmie Lee “650” Miller, 53 of Rome, Ga, passed away on December 9, 2025 surrounded by family and loved ones at AdventHealth Redmond in Rome, Ga. He was preceded in death by his father, William Jimmie Miller, and mother, Linda Kay Miller, and a granddaughter, Heavenly Serena Burleson. He left behind a brother, Jessie Miller, a loving partner of 24 years, Teresa Nicholson of Shannon, Ga, four stepchildren; Dana Nicholson and Shane Davis of Silver Creek, Codi and Dan Malone of Rome, Ga, Ryan and Kelsey Nicholson of Hiram, Ga, and Wyatt and Rachel Nicholson of Lindale, Ga, and his grandchildren; Yuna, Dannalyn, Liam, Ezra, Alba, Cohutta, and Delilah.
Jimmie was beloved by every soul he met and never knew a stranger. He always had a witty comment, or an off the wall joke to make anybody smile. He loved to call and talk on the phone to anybody he could, and he always had nicknames for everybody that befriended him. He had a warm smile, a contagious laugh, and a happy thought for everybody. He was a lover of the world and of people, and a huge soft heart that he wore on his sleeve.
He will be missed very dearly by his loved ones and by the community that knew him. To know Jimmie was to know love and faith that good people can still exist. He would go out of his way for his children and his partner, or even the stranger he met last week. All he ever wanted was to make the world a brighter place, and he did. And we will all miss him, and his spark he brought.
Thank you to the healthcare team at AdventHealth Redmond that went above and beyond for him, and a special thank you to Dr. Girard for doing everything possible for him.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Daniel’s funeral home. We encourage anybody who knew Jimmie to join the family in remembering his life and legacy he leaves behind.
