John Alexander Eaves

John Alexander Eaves, age 83, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017. John was born May 5, 1934 in Cherokee County, AL, to the late Bessie Walker Phillips Eaves and William Thomas Eaves.

He is survived by Family: Jean Eaves

Sons and daughters: Ralph and Yolanda Bowers, Dan and Joyce Eaves, Robert and Lynn Eaves, Debra Sisson, Gail and Tim Morgan, Lavada McDaniel, and Rickey Nation. 20 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren. One brother Rev Paul Eaves. Two sisters Bessie L. Stovers and Willie Faye Rhinehart.

He was preceded in death by his Mom and Dad, a daughter Ann Nation and 2 son-in-law Benny Sisson and Roger McDaniel. A sister Jodie Reyner and two brothers Rev. Joe Eaves and James Robert Eaves(Jr).

A visitation for John was held Monday, November 20, 2017 from 4:00 PM til Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at midnight at New Vision Church on Harmony Road in the Wax Community near Rome. Visitation was also be held Tuesday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service followed at 3:00 PM, at the church. A committal service was then held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Veterans Cemetery Road, Canton, Georgia 30114.
