Linda Lovely was born in Chicago, IL on November 29, 1944, daughter of the late Eric Charles Lundquist and Violet Clara Skibbe. She is remembered tenderly as a loving and giving person. Linda’s nature was to love unconditionally, listen openly and treat everyone like family. Those that knew her will miss her tremendously. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her companion of 15 years, Michael Mikelat and a brother, Gerald Lundquist.
Survivors include daughter, Jennifer Willmot of Shannon, GA; Grandchildren, Heather Sutter and Adam Sutter of Richardson, TX, Savannah Sutter of Shannon, GA, Matthew and Timothy Proctor also of Shannon; a great-granddaughter, Emma Leigh Sutter; brother, Larry Lundquist of Harwood Heights, IL and a sister, Nancy Cleckner of Elgin, IL.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 12:00 PM in the Rush Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Valerie Loner. A reception followed in the fellowship hall for all that were in attendance.
The family received friends at the church from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
