Services for Mr. Hines were held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. February 16, 2013 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church 1401 South College Rd. Wilmington, NC 28403 with Rev. Beth Hood officiating. Interment followed at Oleander Memorial Gardens 306 Bradley Dr. Wilmington, NC 28409 with military rites. The family received friends at Coble Ward - Smith Funeral Home in Wilmington Friday evening February 15, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
In addition to survivors Mr. Hines is also survived by a granddaughter Mary Frances Edwards and her husband Duke.
