Mrs. Cato was born October 12, 1928 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of thelate Edward Eugene Buder and Maretta Graham Buder. She was a graduate of the Rome High School and attended Southwestern University in Memphis. She retired from Miller Bros. Inc.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, George Seery Cato; daughters, Suzan Cato, Christina (Greg) Flowers, Seery (Robert) Cato, and Rosamond Ramsey; grandchildren, Chelsea Digsby, Neely Vuaghn and Maria flowers: one sister, Marjorie Buder; and one nephew, Michael Faires.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 5, 2012, at 2 P.m. at the graveside in the Myrtle Hill Cemetery with Deacon Stuart Neslin officiating. The family received friends at a reception on Monday, March 5, 2012 from12:30 until 1:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 911 N. Broad Street, Rome, GA, 30161.
