Nellie Faye Lee

She was a member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church where she was a Eucharist Minister and a member for over 36 years. Mrs. Lee was a loving mother, grandmother, great grand-mother, sister, friend and a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, bird watching, flowers and butterflies. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her parents Felix Andrew Johnson and Edith Idell Miller Johnson. She was also preceded in death by a brother Delane Johnson in 1999.

She is survived by one son; Bob Lee (Sharon Haney) of Rome, four daughters; Patti (Steve) Henry of Milledgeville, GA., Judith Christina Lee of Rome, Renee Lee Brown (Dr. Kevin Brown) of Jacksonville, FL., Karen Cowell of Niceville, FL, and one sister; Jeanette (Robert) Trapp of Millbrook AL. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, Stan Jones, Dustin Lee, Tyler Morgan, Robin Morgan, Dan Morgan, Melissa Robinson, Tiffany Henry, Christopher Tumblin, Tara Brown, Austin Brown, and Harrison Brown, four great-grandchildren, Caroline Lee, Nicholas Garcia, Ryan Pope, and Henry Morgan; two nieces, Teresa Johnson, Denise Talley; two nephews, Troy Johnson and Glenn Trapp.

The family received friends Wednesday evening July 24, 2013 at Daniel’s Funeral Home from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friends and family attended a service for Mrs. Lee on Thursday July 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Deacon Stuart Neslin officiating. Interment followed at Floyd Memory Gardens. Those serving as pallbearers are: Dustin Lee, Christopher Tumblin, Steve Henry, Kevin Brown, Glenn Trapp and Charles Tumblin.
