
Mr. Freeman was born in Rome, GA December 4, 1926. He was the son of the late Willie Crowell Freeman and Mary Thelma Fricks Freeman. He was also preceded in death by two sons; Willie Michael Freeman, one step-son; Allen Ineichen, one brother; Houston Freeman and two sisters; Mildred Jarrell and Beverly Bagley.
Mr. Freeman was an avid gardener, a premier barbecue cook, he loved story-telling and was known for having a tremendous memory. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife Doris Jean Money Freeman to whom he was married for over 46 years, one step-son; Randy Ineichen and his wife Mary, two daughters Carol James and her husband Hugh, Sharon House and her husband Harley, Grandchildren; Randy Freeman, Maryann Westmoreland, Aimee Crider, Michael House, and Amanda Hardin, step-grandchildren; Joey Ineichen, Cher Swindle, Becky Hogan, Emily Hoffman, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service were held Saturday November 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Thomas B. Griffin Memorial Chapel of Daniel’s Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Izell officiating. The family received friends Saturday from 1p.m. until the funeral hour at Daniel’s. Inurnment will follow in Wax Cemetery.
