

Born January 28, 1922 in St. John’s, Newfoundland, where he was known as Jack Foley.
Aged 94, he died peacefully at his home in Blainville, Quebec on May 8, 2016 with his children and loving wife of 65 years by his side.
John flourished during some of histories most difficult times. He served us bravely in the British Navy and survived severe injury in the Second World War.
He was a leader in his community and church, A volunteer at the Royal Victoria Palliative Care. He was a hardworking, fun and loving father.
The son of the late Thomas and Mary (Brick) Foley. Predeceased by his eldest son Michael (Catherine) widower of Irene Ferguson. He was also predeceased by seven siblings.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Veronica (née Hurd), his sister Carmel Coombes, and his children; Mary-Alice, Kevin (Flora), Johnny (Louise), Patrick, Veronica (Eric) and Sheila (Brad). He will be forever cherished by his grandchildren; Simon, Colin, Véronique, Jennifer, Kimberly, Matthew, Rebecca and Lorraine.
Our love for this man has no bounds.

Visitations will be at Les Salons Funéraires Guay. (418 Boul. Labelle, Rosemère) on May 15th., from 2PM to 5PM and 7PM to 10PM. The funeral mass will take place May 16 at Eglise Ste-Francoise Cabrini (210 Rue de le L’eglise, Rosemère) at 11AM.
