Laura Jensen (Houston) peacefully left this world April 11, 2014 at the age of 84. She enjoyed life to the fullest and spent many happy years with her partner Bob Sykes in their lovely home in the Laurentians and their winter home in Florida.
She was a woman ahead of her time and had a career she was very proud of with Abbott Laboratories until she retired at the age of 50. She was an avid golfer and gardener and thoroughly enjoyed her life in the country.
She leaves behind her two loving daughters, Diane Houston and Laura Maguire-Houston and her grandchildren, Jordan, Cody, Ali and Lehm, her brothers Harvey (Shirley) Jensen and Jack (Mary) Jensen along with many nieces and nephews.
We are especially grateful to her brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and Shirley Jensen for being an incredible support to her in her last years and throughout her life. We thank them both, from our hearts.
Funeral services will be held on April 17, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Guay Funeral Home 410 Boulevard Labelle, Rosemere Quebec.
