was 96 years old. He was born on October 26, 1923 to Floro and Clara Ibalio in Pasuquin, Ilocos
Norte, Philippines. He was a member of the Philippine Commonwealth Army and recognized
Philippine Guerrilla forces during WWII. He survived the Bataan Death March and Camp O’Donnell.
After the war, he became a librarian and subsequently immigrated to the United States. He is preceded
in death by his wife, Rosario Marzo Zamoranos Ibalio, and his sons, Abraham and Tito Ibalio. He is
survived by his son Fernando; his daughters Febe, Maribeth Nilda, Rufina Edna, Claire; his daughtersin-
law Aurea and Fe; his sons-in-law Florentino, Romeo, Arnulfo, Martin; his grandchildren; and his
great-grandchildren.
