She is survived by daughter Judy Aguilar (Tom) of Rocklin; son Larry Pugliese (Karen) of LaJolla; sisters Carnie Noel (David) and Pat Byrnes (Larry); granddaughters Jacqueline Kennedy (Rick) and Jillian Aguilar; and her adored great-granddaughters Addilyn and Payton Kennedy.
She attended Rocklin and Loomis elementary schools and graduated from Roseville High School in 1946. Various summers were spent packing plums with other family members. After graduating from Heald's Business College, she worked for New York Mutual Life Insurance. On October 10, 1948, she married Johnnie Pugliese. She left her job prior to Judy's birth in 1953. In 1955, Larry was born. Frances was a wonderful, very loving mom to her children, completely involved in their schooling and other activities. She spent 28 years as a Teacher Aide at Woodbridge and Cirby Elementary schools. Frances and Johnnie spent 43 happy years together, raising their family and later traveling all over the world. They especially found joy in spending time with granddaughters Jacqueline and Jillian, who called them "Mana and Hon". They also loved drives to see Larry and Karen in San Diego. A highlight of their lives was in 1979 when they visited both of their parents' hometowns in Spain and Italy with Gala and Nicolas. Frances revisited the towns in 2006 with Judy and Jillian. After Johnnie's death in 1992, Frances continued to stay very busy, as a member of Club Espanol of Placer County, Rocklin Historical Society, Roseville Green Thumb Garden Club, Roseville High School Alumni Association, Roseville Historical Society, San Vito Branch Italian Catholic Federation, Sons of Italy Branch 1413, and Women's Improvement Club of Roseville. She also resumed travels with family and friends. She loved being "on the go" to various community and other social events. While at one, she was already planning which to attend next. Judy often accompanied her. Frances had a passion for taking pictures and almost always had her camera handy to photograph everyone. Frances was "young at heart" and her energy and love of life was an inspiration to others. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her family is grateful of the loving care provided by her Caregivers Manpreet, Soma and Tajinder.
