Jane Inez Kohlman

Jane was born 11/18/1915 in Duluth, Minnesota to proud Norwegian parents, Ole and Kathryn Mathilde Field. Her brother Kenneth Field of Colorado Springs, Co (age 100) And sister Virginia “Ginny” Kelker (age 97) Preceded her in death. Husbands Lawrence Anderson and Fred Kohlman and Janes beloved daughter Carol, Also passed away and are now celebrating a wonderful reunion in Heaven.

Jane was married to “Larry” Anderson for 25+ years and lived in Southern California with their 2 daughters Kathy and Carol. Her 24 year career in the executive personal department of Broadway stores, Div of Carter-Haley- Hale provided an independent and secure life in Monterey Park, CA. Carol, Jim, Chas, Cindy, Kathy, Jack and Don were there every holiday and family events.

In 1978, Jane started a second 25 year journey with Fred Kohlman, Moving to Northern California and settling in Diamond K Estates in Roseville, CA. She and Fred established a long lasting relationship and membership in the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. Especially enjoying their participation in the church Daylighters group. The family unit grew from Kathy, Jack, Don, Carol, Jim, Chas and Cindy to include Jacqui and daughter Brenda and Jennifer. After Freds passing in 2003, Jane continued to live Independently in her home, Enjoying many friendships gained along the way.

Janes last 5 years were spent under the same roof as daughter Kathy, Son in law- Jack, Grandson Don and wife Wendy. A home filled with love and caring surrounding her. She so loved the visits of Friends, phone callsand many cards, keeping her in touch with everyone. And found such heartfelt joyin the hugs and smiles from out little family members- Michael, Callie, Hannah, and Shirley - Moms wonderful caregiver was a blessing.

Now Moms eternal journey begins in Heaven and all of us here celebrate with her. When we see a beautiful rose bush in bloom, We will be filled with Happy memories.
