John Frederick Steinhart

John Frederick Steinhart, age 69, of Citrus Heights, California passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Sutter Roseville Hospital in Roseville, California. John was born on June 7,1952 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania. John was preceded in death by both of his parents John and Virginia (Snyder) Steinhart as well as his brother, David.

John, who was usually called Fred, is survived by his three sisters: Barbara, Margaret and Ruth and one brother, Richard. He leaves behind his ex-wife, Sue Steinhart, her family, his good friend Rick Pierce, and many other friends and acquaintances. Fred had 12 nieces and nephews and 18 great nephews and nieces.

Fred worked as a purchasing agent for many years in Cupertino, California. While there, he enjoyed outdoor sports such as sailing, golfing, playing tennis, swimming. Fred swam competitively in college, graduating from Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, PA in 1974.

Fred loved to send cards to his family members and loved ones. Unexpected cards from Fred would always bring his loved ones a smile and sometimes a laugh. Fred, and his cards, will be deeply missed.
