He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Marvin Porter and Elmo Porter. Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Sarah J. Porter, as well as his two daughters, Cindy Greer (George) and Donna Porter. He leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Johnny Porter enjoyed fishing, camping, reading cowboy books by louis L'Amour, spending time with his family and friends, as well as tinkering around in his garage.
A visitation for Johnny will be held Friday, February 4, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville, CA 95678. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 4, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville, CA 95678. A graveside service will occur Friday, February 4, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Rocklin Cemetery District, 4090 Kannasto Street, Rocklin, CA 95677.
