

Born on 25 July 1948 in Jamestown, Fentress County, Tennessee. During her youth, she lived in Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana. She then moved to California in 1975 and lived there on and off until her death.
Her parents were Arvil Addison Hurst and Evelyn Monnie Hoover-Hurst
Linda was the 1st of 5 children.
Linda graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1967. She was on the yearbook staff and cheerblock for the Bearcats. She also attended De Anza College and Cypress College in California.
After her high school she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 20 years.
She lived in Muncie, Indiana; San Jose, California; Anaheim, California; and Roseville, California
Her most important life event was the birth of her daughter Daphne.
She always enjoyed spending time with her daughter, her grandchildren, and other friends and family.
She enjoyed reading books, drawing and painting, watching movies, cooking, and gambling. She had a great love of books all her life and passed that on to her family. She had a garden and grew many humongous vegetables to the envy of her neighbors.
She listened and loved Rock 'N Roll and alternative music all her life. New and up and coming artists were her favorites. She loved Annie Lennox, Pink and many others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Larry Hurst, and her sister Bernice Hurst.
She is survived by her daughter Daphne Chakurian, her grandchildren Ethan and Elise Chakurian, her brother Anthony A. Hurst, her sister Nora Rowe, and her nieces and nephews Ryan Hurst, Kristen Hurst, Sarah Thompson, Frederick McClure, Leslie Adamson, Amber Martin, and Anthony S. Hurst.
She was a kind person and a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by her friends and family.
