Mabel Margaret Martinelli

1923- 2015 Mabel Martinelli, 91, passed away on August 23, 2015 after a full and wonderful life. Mabel is survived by her loving daughters Alison Meehan (Tom) and Gail Rossetto (Bennie); brother Allen Cameron (Katie); sisters-in-law Ilene Rice and Glorian Martinelli; grandchildren Carrie Dahlman, Kelly Rossetto Isbell, and Lisa Lucara; and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Mabel was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 67 years, Kieth, her son Richard, and her grandson Richard Kieth. Mabel moved to Roseville from San Diego in 1937. She graduated from Roseville High School, Class of 1941, and went on to Oregon State University before marrying Kieth in 1944. She then returned to Roseville and became an active member of the community, working at the Bank of America for over 20 years and the Roseville Hospital Auxillary for over 30 years. She was proud to serve as president of the Auxillary in 1990. Mabel was also a loyal member of the Roseville First Methodist Church, where she volunteered on numerous committees. Throughout her life, Mabel enjoyed the company of others. Some of her fondest memories included playing cards with her friends and family. She will be missed. Services will be held Monday, August 31, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at the Roseville District Cemetery Pavilion: 421 Berry Street, Roseville, CA 95678. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mabel's honor may be made to Sutter Roseville Medical Center: Foundation 1 Medical Plaza, Roseville, CA 95661.
