Marie Debrick M. Seibel (Debrick)

1-23-1913 – 6-18-2011

Marie went to be with her Lord on June 18, 2011 at Roseville, California.

Marie was born in Michigan City, Indiana to John G. and Marguerite Jantzen Debrick on January 23, 1913. She and her family moved to Oregon and then to Lodi in 1922.

On May 1, 1933, in Lodi, Marie married Arthur “J” Seibel. They were married for 63 years prior to Art passing away.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother James Debrick and sister Veola Hunting. She is survived by her sister Margaret Powers of Folsom, her daughter Sandra and son-in-law Joseph D. Elder of Rocklin, her son Jon Seibel of Glendale, AZ, grandson David Elder of Granite Bay, granddaughter Lisa Fillman of Glendale, AZ, great grandsons Dustin and Michael of Glendale, AZ, great granddaughter Nikkel of Granite Bay, sister-in-law Verna Debrick of Santa Rosa, brother-in-law Ben Seibel of San Jose, sister-in-law Martha Plow of Poulso, WA, and many nieces and nephews.

Marie worked for 24 years at McClellan Air Force Base, retiring in 1975. She received a Special Achievement Award from the Air Force in 1972.

During her retirement years she received many awards for her volunteerism at the Roseville Volunteer Collaborative, AARP, Bethel Lutheran Church, Roseville Maidu Community Center’s Recreation and Respite Program, and Roseville Hospice Thrift Store.

Friends are welcome for visitation, Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd. Roseville, CA 95678. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 11:30 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church, 1050 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, CA 95678.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Bethel Lutheran Church, 1050 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, CA 95678.
