Markella Denise Magliola

Markella Denise Magliola was born in May 1959 in Santa Monica, CA, passed away on July 19, 2023 in Roseville, CA. Markella is the daughter of Nickolas and Angela Siokos, and is survived by husband Michael Magliola, sons Michael Jr. and Angelo (Sophia), mother Angela Siokos, and sisters Andrea (Tim Spaeth), Cynthia Siokos, and Eliana (Chris Reinsvold).

Markella attended Colorado State University, where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Sciences and an MBA in Agricultural Economics.

Throughout her life, Markella’s many hobbies and interests included horseback riding, rock climbing, windsurfing, hiking, kayaking, running, gardening, pottery, knitting, cooking and baking, and spending time with her family, friends, and animals. She was a faithful steward of Saint Anna Greek Orthodox Church in Roseville, CA, where she regularly volunteered her time to serve those in need.
