

Matthew Levine was born January 20, 1929 in Bayonne, NJ and passed away in Reno, NV on May 31, 2016, at the age of 87. He most currently resided in Sun City Lincoln Hills. He was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Sarah Levine, and his brother, Kermit Levine and wife Naomi. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Deborah Lynne, his mother-in-law, Roberta W. Bulebush, his sister, Ida Silver, three sons, Barry (Sharri) Levine of New York, Terry (Laverne) Levine of Lansdowne, PA and Steven Levine of Fayetteville, NC. He is also survived by three granddaughters, August, Tiffany and Brittany Levine as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
Matthew graduated from Bayonne High School and Temple University. He was an accountant for many years, and retired as Director of Finance at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ in 1992. He was honored to be included in "Who's Who in Finance and Industry" during his long career.
Matthew was a life-time member of the National Association of Accountants, and also active in many organizations including: Fortitude Lodge (Knights of Pythian), American Legion and Jewish War Veterans. Matt served in the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart and several bronze stars. This past year he was extremely honored to receive "THE AMBASSADOR FOR PEACE" medal from the Republic of Korea.
