Nancy Ann was born to Roy and Charlene Rabjohn on January 17th, 1941 in South Virginia. Having a dad in the railroad, she moved often before settling in Mt. Shasta in the town of Dunsmuir where she graduated high school in 1959. She is survived by her sister Pat, her son Steve, sons-in-law Cesar and Wayne, her daughters Sharon and Julie and daughter-in-law Kathy; her grandchildren Justin, Jeremy, Kendra, Danielle, Jason, Hunter, Connor, Jackie, Justin, Matthew, Skylar, and Morgan; her great grandchildren, Renee, Charlotte, Mia, Xiomara, Lillian, Kenny, Julie, her namesake baby Nancy; and all those whom she adopted as her extended family and friends.
Nancy lived a vibrant life full of love and laughter. With her bright blue eyes and quick smile, she was always the life of the party. Nicknamed Fancy Nancy, she loved sparkly things, colorful cloths, fun hats, and rarely left the house without her lipstick and earrings on. She was creative and adventuresome, and loved painting, crafting, gardening, digging in the dirt, baking, and sewing. She was always ready to go camping, fishing, water or snow skiing, traveling, bowling, golfing, or to the movies or casino. However, her absolute favorite was doing all those things with her family and friends.
Nancy called Ken ‘the love of my life’ and she was utterly devoted to him. They were married nearly 50 years and had 3 children, 13 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Nancy was everything a mother/grandmother could possibly be. She loved all her children / grandchildren deeply. She always made time to be at every practice, game, or event they participated in. She engaged them with her wonderful stories, spent time painting and doing crafts. She taught them the love of Jesus and made sure they each knew she loved them.
Nancy died on 2/10/21 at the age of 80 from an aggressive lymphoma cancer that had gone undiagnosed until too late. She was surrounded by her children who prayed with her and sang her favorite hymns as she peacefully passed on to join Jesus, Ken, Zachery, and her many loved ones in heaven.
