

He was a loving, devoted husband of 51 years to Millie Rasmussen, loving father to son Don (Janice) Rasmussen and daughter Lisa (Kennan) Pardini, and grandfather to Kaja Rasmussen, Connor and Christian Pardini and Shea Howard. Preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Marie (Hebuck) Rasmussen, brothers Leland and Harold Rasmussen and sister Marjorie Holmes. Survived by brother Irvin (Vida) Rasmussen, and sisters Dorothy Floyd, Bernice (Frank) Aguilar and Nancy (David) Minton and many nieces and nephews.
Paul graduated in 1953 from Placer Union High School in Auburn, CA. He was in the Army for three years and a veteran of the Korean War. He was also in the USAF for four years and USAF Reserves for 28 years until he retired with the rank of Senior Master Sgt. Paul flew several thousand hours as a Flight Engineer on C 124 and C 130 aircrafts as part of the 940th Reserve Unit supporting U.S. Forces around the world and performed many years of service maintaining USAF aircrafts. He retired from Civil Service at McClelland AFB where he worked as a Production Controller Specialist and Manager for over 16 years.
After retirement he and Millie loved to travel around the world. He enjoyed spending countless hours with his family and supporting his grandchildren at their many activities.
A graveside service will be held Friday, January 6th at 1:00 pm at the Rocklin Cemetery, 4090 Kannasto Street in Rocklin, Ca and will be followed and will be followed by a Celebration of Life at the Loomis Grange Hall, 6486 Colwell Road in Loomis, Ca. Donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in lieu of flowers.
