Ronald is preceded in death by his wife Connie Sue Andrews, to whom he was married 23 years, and his daughter Melanie Andrews. He is survived by daughter margaret Andrews, sons Greg Petty and John Petty, son-in-law Ron Daschmans, daughter-in-law Tammy Petty, and granddaughters Larissa Andrews and Amanda Petty.
Ronald was the owner-operator of Andrews Towing Service for 35 years beginning in 1970. A former bowler, he was also a collector of stamps, a lover of scuba diving, and a purveyor of Dad jokes. When he wasn't traveling the world by cruise ship, he could often be found absorbed in John Wayne movies, World War 2 history or the Game Show Network.
