Rose Ella Peterson, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on January 2, 2016 in Roseville, California. Rose was 90 years old at the time of her passing. She was born in Haskell, Texas on January 14, 1925.
Rose dedicated her life to raising her children, teaching schoolchildren both in the classroom and as a special education teacher, and being a loving partner to her husband Wayne who preceded her in death on October, 5, 2013.
Rose and Wayne were married for seventy years. Together they raised three sons, built or remodeled several homes, traveled extensively in their motorhome and enjoyed adventures with their grandchildren. Rose was a strong woman, both in stature and character. By example, she passed on both her work ethic and her moral ethic to her children and grandchildren.
Rose is survived by her three sons, Wayne, Rick and Bill; their spouses (Dianne, Anita and Dianna); eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
