

Rosemary M. Wilson passed away peacefully in Roseville, California, on February 27, 2025, She was 86. Rosemary was born on March 26, 1938, in Newtownards, Northern Ireland. She was married for over 62 years to her husband Robert “Roy” Wilson.
She is survived by her brother Ronnie Murray, and sister Heather Boddy of Northern Ireland. Children Colleen Kemper and her husband Kevin Kemper of Granite Bay; Glynis Wilson and her husband Peter Levrini of Orangevale; Gayle Wilson of San Francisco; and Andrew Wilson and his wife Emily Wilson of Sarasota Florida; her grandchildren Zach Hazel, Tyler and Shelby Levrini, Exene Black, and Christopher and Daniel Wilson; and great grandchildren Mia Del Buono and Parker Hazel.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert "Roy" Wilson, her parents Harry and Martha Murray of Newtownards, Northern Ireland, as well as her brother Campbell Murray of Northern Ireland.
Rosemary grew up in Northern Ireland and after completing nursing school, moved to Scotland to study and complete her midwifery.
Rosemary immigrated from Ireland to California shortly after her marriage to Roy in 1960. She dedicated her entire career delivering babies at various hospitals as a labor and delivery nurse until her eventual retirement from Kaiser Permanente many years later.
Rosemary loved gardening, knitting, and traveling. She was a devoted mother and spent many summers taking her family on road trips throughout the southwestern United States and beyond. After retiring she discovered a passion for cruises and spent nearly all her remaining years traveling the world with Roy. This would include many (non-cruise) trips back to Ireland to visit with family and friends. Over the years, Rosemary knitted many sweaters, outfits, and blankets for her children and grandchildren.
Rosemary was loved and adored by many. A Celebration of Life for her is scheduled for Saturday, May 24th at 10:30 am at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville, California. A reception immediately following the service will be held at the home of her daughter, Colleen Kemper.
