Barbara Jean Powell, age 85, a resident of Chesterfield, passed away March 4, 2015. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary - VFW Post 2358. Beloved wife of James. Loving mother of Kathryn Miller and Karen (Anthony) Franzone and stepmother of Brenda Bishop, James Powell, Larry (Sharlene) Powell, Randy Powell, Mary (Raul) Martinez, Kathleen (Vincent) Jugowicz and Karen (Kevin) Dressig. Proud grandmother of 20, great-grandmother of 23 and great-great-grandmother of two. Dear sister of Margaret Pankow. Mrs. Powell is predeceased by her siblings, Robert, Ida, Kathryn and Wm. A. Jr. Visitation Saturday, March 7, 2015 3–9 p.m. with VFW service at 7 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave. Roseville. There will be a church service on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church 51161 Maria New Baltimore, MI 48047.
