Betty L. "Betty Lou", Ripley (nee: Nagey), a fourteen-year resident of Harrison, Michigan (formerly of Warren) passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan. Betty was an avid bowler, horseshoe thrower (in leagues at the Moose Lodge #2235 - Harrison, Michigan), card player and also enjoyed knitting/sewing. She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Robert A. "Bob" Ripley, Sr. (known locally to many as: "Mr. Rip"). Also surviving are her mother, Frances Nagey; seven loving children, Bob (Phyllis Purcell) Ripley, Jr., Dale (Jude) Ripley, Cindy Gurisko, Terry (Linda) Ripley, Bill (Judy Douglas) Ripley, Jerry Ripley and Sherry (Tony) Gaglio; sister, Rose (Joe) Page; three brothers, Roger Nagey, Steve (Linda) Nagey and Donny Nagey; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. Friends may visit Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from 1:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home – 27830 Gratiot Avenue, Roseville, Michigan.
