I just learned of this. I'm so sorry I wasn't able to attend the service in her support. Words can't convey my sense of loss. Nothing I can say can do our friendship justice. Claude often spoke of our "parallell" lives. We've been best friends since Osborn High, and though we've been separated by geography, she continued to keep touch. I intended to bring my grandkids, who she met when they were just babies, to her cabin in the north woods, but missed many opportunities. It was always "next summer". I sadly never got to meet her grandkids who she was so proud of. I send my prayers and best wishes to her grandkids and Lisa.

My Dear Friend Claudia, We were the only kids who sold kisses to the mailman on your porch, and he actually paid., Many fond memories of our youth will never be forgotten .  Someday we will meet again.

I grew up with Claudia and the Cramer's on Glenwood.  Sadly the last time I saw her was at my own brother Tom's funeral.  May she rest in peace now with Tom and Jimmy. Sorry for your loss Janie & Tommy.

Claudia and I just spoke 2 weeks ago about our usually stuff.lol. We have worked for years. We shared the same birthdate also simular walks in life when it came to our family.. I will always remember her smile and laughter. She loved her family and friends. She will be greatly missed... I will cherish every momment we shared.. To her family you will be in my thoughts and prayers...

I met Claudia through her Uncle Gary ( my husband - also deceased). I have shared many good times with Claudia over the past several years. She was a very thoughtful and caring person with a very deep spirituality. We shared many walks in the park and some very deep conversations. Rest in peace, Claudia. I pray that all the "hurts" you sustained in this life are now healed and that you find yourself at home with family that have gone before.

   Claudia will be really missed. I was so glad that for the past several years I was the one who got to do her hair. We have had so many talks and laughs!  Claudia always had some silly story to share or we would talk bout her wonderful daughter and her amazing grandchildren! 
  It's very hard knowing Claudia is no longer with us. Just 5 days before she past I spend a couple of hrs with her while I was doing her hair. We talked a lot about life and family and that our time on earth is over before we kno it.. Little did she kno how true it would be for her. 
  Lisa,Alex,Abbey and Jack..always kno she did love you ! She may not have known how to show it as good as she should have but she did love you!
    John and I are keeping Claudia's family in our prayers and we are here if you need us!

Colleen Mcginley and Don Huegerich have enjoyed the company of Claudia on many occasions. Don and Colleen have enjoyed a friendship that expands for more than 25 years.  Claudia was always fun and we enjoyed antique hunting with her. We would meet Claudia for a Christmas party at Karens house every year and share our Christmas wishes. Claudia often spoke of her daughter and grand children expressing her love for them and how smart they are. She wished she could have been with her family more often. Claudia enjoyed going to her cottage up north in the summer and often thought she may like to move there. Claudia and Colleen enjoyed a Garden Party together this last August. She looked beautiful and brought a friend with her who was also allot of fun. We were looking forward to many more occasions with Claudia when the weather got warmer. She loved her cats as they would cuddle up with her when she slept. She was working on her house trying to get rid of things as she knew her life was changing and she needed to down size. Colleen spoke with her a few days before she died not knowing I would never hear her voice again. She just got her hair done and stated she was going to add a little more blond to her color this time. Don and I will miss Claudia very much as she was our best friend. We will miss seeing her and spending the day together. She always made us laugh. I am having a very hard time with her death as she never told us she was not feeling well. We are feeling a great loss.
